Fluya: Expense Manager · Last updated: September 3, 2026
100% local · No servers · No accounts
Fluya: Expense Manager (hereinafter, “Fluya”, “the application” or “the service”) is a personal finance mobile application developed by TecnoChat. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are as a user.
Quick summary: Fluya does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. All your financial information remains exclusively on your device.
1. Information We DO NOT Collect
Fluya is designed around the principle of privacy by design. We do not collect:
Name, email address, phone number, or contact data.
Login credentials (the app has no user accounts).
Financial transaction data (amounts, categories, notes).
Geographic location of the user.
Contacts, photos, files, or any device content.
Persistent advertising identifiers.
2. Local Data Storage
All information you enter into Fluya (transactions, custom categories, payment methods, currency and language preferences) is saved exclusively in your device's internal storage via a local SQLite database (Room). This data:
Never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server.
Is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app.
Can be manually cleared via Settings → “Clear All Data”.
Can be backed up locally to an encrypted ZIP file on the device itself, or exported to Google Drive via the “Save to Drive” feature (only if you choose to).
3. Permissions Requested by the App
Fluya requests the following permissions, each with a specific purpose and never to track the user:
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: needed only to serve ads through Google AdMob.
WAKE_LOCK: allows the scheduled daily reminder (8:00 AM) to be delivered even when the device is in deep sleep.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: required on Android 13+ to display the daily expense-tracking reminder.
AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): technical permission for AdMob to serve ads. You can reset this identifier from Google Settings → Ads.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)
Fluya uses Google AdMob to show ads that fund the free development of the app. AdMob may collect information about the ads you see and your interaction with them, in accordance with its own policy:
You can opt out of personalized ads from your device's Google settings. Additionally, Fluya includes a conceptual “buy ad-free version” option (not yet implemented as an in-app purchase in this release).
4.2 Local Storage and Google Drive (optional)
If you choose to export a backup to Google Drive using the “Save to Drive” feature, the ZIP file is created locally and you upload it using the system file picker (Storage Access Framework). Fluya never uploads files on your behalf automatically.
5. Children
Fluya is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has provided data, please contact us to delete it.
6. Information Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data stored on your device:
The local database resides in the app's private storage (inaccessible to other apps).
ZIP backups can be protected with an optional password.
We do not use shared external storage (SD card) for sensitive data.
Traffic to AdMob uses encrypted HTTPS.
However, no system is 100% infallible. We recommend keeping your device locked with a PIN / fingerprint and not sharing your device unattended.
7. Your Rights
Because all your data is local, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
Access: open Fluya and view your data.
Export: generate a PDF or Excel from the Transactions screen.
Modify or delete specific entries: from each edit screen.
Delete everything: Settings → “Clear All Data” or uninstall the app.
Disable personalized ads: Google Settings → Ads.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when the last revision was made. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
9. Applicable Legal Framework
This policy complies with:
Google Play Store Developer Policy.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — European Union.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — California, USA.
Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) — Brazil.
