CotizaExpress (hereinafter, “CotizaExpress”, “the application” or “the service”) is a mobile application for independent professionals who need to create, send, and follow up on quotes via WhatsApp. It is developed by TecnoChat. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are as a user.

1. Information We DO NOT Collect

CotizaExpress is designed around the principle of privacy by design. We do not collect:

• User's name, email address, phone number, or contact data.
• Login credentials (the app has no user accounts).
• Geographic location of the user.
• Contacts, photos, files, or any device content.
• Web browsing history.
• Data from other apps.

2. Data the Application Stores on Your Device

All information you enter (clients, quotes, items, templates, agenda, preferences) is saved exclusively in your device's local storage via a local SQLite database (Drift). This data:

• Never leaves your device unless you decide otherwise (sharing PDF/image via WhatsApp, optional Supabase sync).
• Is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app.
• Can be manually cleared via Settings → “Clear All Data”.
• Can be backed up locally to an encrypted ZIP file on the device itself.

3. Permissions Requested by the App

CotizaExpress requests the following permissions, each with a specific purpose and never to track the user:

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: needed only to serve ads through Google AdMob and, if you choose to, to sync backups with Supabase.
• WAKE_LOCK: allows scheduled reminders to be delivered even when the device is in deep sleep.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: required on Android 13+ to display quote follow-up reminders.
• AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): technical permission for AdMob to serve ads. You can reset this identifier from Google Settings → Ads.
• Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): on Android 9 and below, to export PDFs to a folder chosen by the user via the system file picker.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

CotizaExpress uses Google AdMob to show ads that fund the free development of the app. AdMob may collect information about the ads you see and your interaction with them, in accordance with its own policy:

You can opt out of personalized ads from your device's Google settings.

4.2 Share Functionality (WhatsApp, email, etc.)

When you decide to share a quote, CotizaExpress generates a PDF or image locally and uses the system share sheet so you can choose the destination app (WhatsApp, email, etc.). The application never uploads files on your behalf; the content is shared only through the app you select.

4.3 Supabase (optional backup, in development)

CotizaExpress includes a Supabase client reserved for a future cloud backup/sync feature. This service is not active in production in this version and the app works fully offline. When activated, it will require your explicit consent before syncing data and only the data you choose to back up will be uploaded.

4.4 In-App Purchase (prepared, not active)

The current code includes infrastructure for a future Pro version with in-app purchases. No real purchases are enabled in this version and no real charges are made. When activated, it will be clearly identified before any charge and will be linked to your Google Play account.

5. Children

CotizaExpress is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has provided data, please contact us to delete it.

6. Information Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data stored on your device:

• The local database resides in the app's private storage (inaccessible to other apps).
• ZIP backups can be protected with an optional password.
• We do not use shared external storage (SD card) for sensitive data.
• Traffic to AdMob uses encrypted HTTPS.

However, no system is 100% infallible. We recommend keeping your device locked with a PIN / fingerprint and not sharing your device unattended.

7. Your Rights

Because all your data is local, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Access: open CotizaExpress and view your data.
• Export: generate a PDF from any quote.
• Modify or delete specific entries: from each edit screen.
• Delete everything: Settings → “Clear All Data” or uninstall the app.
• Disable personalized ads: Google Settings → Ads.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when the last revision was made. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.

This policy complies with:

• Google Play Store Developer Policy.
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — European Union.
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — California, USA.
• Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) — Brazil.
